A superbill is a single-page summary of a visit that includes the CPT code, the ICD-11 codes attached to each condition, and the visit date. SkinMD generates it as a printable PDF.
When to generate
Generate after you sign the encounter note. The superbill pulls the ICD-11 codes from the conditions attached to the visit and pairs them with the standard E/M CPT code for the visit type.
How to generate
- 1Open the visit from the patient chart.
- 2Click “Generate superbill”.
- 3Review the pre-filled CPT and ICD-11 codes. Edit if needed.
- 4Click Download. The PDF is saved to your device.
Superbill generation is gated to Pro, Clinic, and Enterprise plans. On the Free plan, the button is disabled and a tooltip explains the limit.
